Overview
The OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management is a comprehensive, 240-credit Ofqual-regulated qualification equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor's degree. This extended diploma provides an advanced and in-depth foundation for a senior management career in the health and social care sector.
The programme combines all Level 5 Diploma units with additional specialist management study, developing advanced capabilities in leadership, quality management, research, strategic planning and financial management. Successful completion of the OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma provides learners with the opportunity for academic progression to the OTHM Level 6 Diploma, and learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor's degree programme.
